Flight to Tokyo was pretty uneventful except for all the screaming children surrounding our seats. Seriously, I have never been on a flight with so many small kids within 1 row of us. I think we only got about 5 precious moments of actual silence the entire flight I also didn't pack enough snacks and early in the flight Zipair mysteriously sold out of most of the snacks I wanted to buy in-flight too. I was so cranky!

We landed at night and went right to sleep after unpacking and doing our first Lawson run. I was so happy they still had all the Mofusand items from the 2/22 cat day collaboration!

Last month was my first trip back to Tokyo since 2023. Since my wardrobe has grown considerably since then (and I'm trying to save money lately ) I packed a little more clothes this time only expecting to buy 1 or 2 outfits. In reality I went a bit overboard compared to that, but not too bad! I decided to pack only solid colored basics because I wanted to stand out a little less. But, once I was there I kept wishing I had a print skirt or dress to reach for!  Lesson learned for next time!

 In February I went to my second Katsucon and was finally reunited with my best girls!

Catching up on the new year's himekaji challenge, I tried wearing a piece I rarely wear. As one of my only black dresses I tend to go more gothic with it and only wear it when the occasion calls for it (like watching a horror movie or going to a halloween event) but I wanted to challenge myself to coord it in a more every day look and I LOVE how it turned out!

 Since social media is crumbling I thought I should start blogging again! I will try to do more micro-blogs rather than the longform posts that I normally do (but I'm sure some of my posts will be long anyway ) 

I recently cleaned my room and hemmed my curtains so I could take cute selfies!
