Catching up on the new year's himekaji challenge, I tried wearing a piece I rarely wear. As one of my only black dresses I tend to go more gothic with it and only wear it when the occasion calls for it (like watching a horror movie or going to a halloween event) but I wanted to challenge myself to coord it in a more every day look and I LOVE how it turned out!

Wednesday

After that it was take a selfie with a friend day! I met up with my friend from Maid Cafe and went to the local kitten cafe! This tiny black kitten climbed on my lap and immediately zonked out for the rest of our stay 

My friend just returned from visiting Thailand for a wedding and she brought me back so many lovely souvenirs including the worlds CUTEST pajamas ever?? I'm obsessed with them, though they are definitely Summer PJs. I can't wait for warmer weather so I can wear them to bed!

Thursday

Me and my boyfriend finally saw Sonic 3! We caught the late night showing and since all the restaurants close around 9 or 10 we ended up getting dinner early, coming home for a food coma nap, and then heading back out to the theater which was actually the perfect date night for our mood and energy lately  On our way to the theater we picked up boba and they had a special Goosebumps collaboration going. The drink was basically a mix between a matcha and brown sugar milk tea and it was soooo tasty. Plus I didn't realize but the cup it comes in is pretty sturdy plastic and relatively re-usable which was a nice surprise!
