Strawberry Chocolate Valentine Tea Party

We had our second tea party in the himekaji server today and this time I was in charge of hosting it! Valentine's day is such a perfect opportunity to dress up cute, so of course I went way over the top. For me chocolates and strawberries remind me of Valentine's day the most, so that's how the theme was decided!

Of course the theme gave me lots of opportunities for yummy snacks! This time I had strawberry cream sandwiches and strawberry chocolate scones with assorted chocolates and adorable Karel Capek brand strawberry tea. I also finally got around to making my own sugar cubes using a cute candy mold I bought from Daiso years ago, and I can't believe how well they turned out! I really should have taken more photos of my snacks this time, but what can you do...

My coord this time was also extremely on theme! I did a little mercari haul right before the tea party and everything arrived exactly on time even though I was a little nervous about it getting here before the meet. My boyfriend also surprised me yesterday with this adorable Q-pot strawberry creampuff necklace that I'd honestly been eyeing for YEARS that matched perfectly! It was such a sweet (LOL) and thoughtful gift so I'm certain I'll treasure it forever

I'm really enjoying these tea parties, so I really can't wait to find out what next month's theme will be!
